What a great sushi find. We haven’t done the hibachi side of the restaurant yet but have had sushi twice and it’s superb. Servers were very attentive and fun to talk to. Prices are very good on food and drinks as well. We will be back many more times

Pros: there wasn’t a wait. We sat down right away. Our kids enjoyed the tricks done by the chef. Cons: Attention to detail. We asked for well done steak for my son and some of it was not cooked all the way through (see pic) We asked for no teriyaki on my other son’s chicken. We told the waitress as well as the chef as he reviewed everyone’s order right before he started cooking. The chef forgot and gave him chicken with sauce on it. The experience felt very rushed, which was surprising since it wasn’t busy.

Very disappointed in our to-go experience. We normally eat inside on the dinner side and have had no problems with our service. We ordered take out for the first time, a few sushi rolls and a kid’s hibachi. We live out in Keystone Heights (1 hr away), were on the way home from the local hospital after having a baby. The food immediately went into our refrigerator (unopened). When we pulled the lunch order (1PM ordered) out for dinner (4:30PM) the kids hibachi had a dead fly at the bottom of the vegetables and the noodles AND the dynamite roll had a fly that was barely alive... Yuck! When I finally got around to calling it was about 7PM. The owners daughter said if I had called 30 minutes after receiving the order she could of done something, however with it being reported later in the day there was no way of “knowing” it came from the restaurant. Fair Argument. However, being that I am a mom of a newborn, have had my house cleaned from top to bottom to bring home a newborn, and that the bag was UNOPENED and immediately put into the refrigerator, I highly doubt that it came from our home. The “solution” was the give 10% off at my next visit, but we will not be going back. Very disap

We went to Samurai for a family lunch of 4 and enjoyed the delicious food. The chef behind the grill was personable and funny, which made the experience even better. However, the wait staff could improve, and the restaurant feels old and dated. Overall, good food and entertainment, but the service and atmosphere need some work.

The food was good and plentiful. My friend ordered the Chicken Tempura Kitchen Dinner and a Jax Roll. She said the roll was okay and the Chicken Tempura was excellent! In addition to being delicious, there was so much she could barely eat half the Chicken Tempura with vegetables and rice. I ordered the Mexico Roll and vegetable tempura appetizer. Both were good. The vegetable tempura included onion, broccoli, mushroom, sweet potato and zucchini. The tempura batter was outstanding and the tempura mushrooms were exceptional. Do yourself a favor and order something tempura!
